Setting up the integration
To connect Greenhouse to Refapp, you first need to enable the Refapp integration in your Greenhouse account.
Contact support@refapp.se to obtain an API key. Once you have received your API key, contact Greenhouse at www.greenhouse.io/asksupport. Make sure to specify which Refapp stage you want to enable:
- Refapp for APP
- Refapp [Sec] for SEC
Greenhouse Support will then provide you with a SendSafely link where you can securely enter your API key.
A notification will be sent to the Greenhouse Support Team after you have entered your API key and they will email you to confirm that your API key has been set up in your account and your integration is enabled.
Once the integration has been enabled, you can continue with the configuration in Refapp.
You can confirm this by going to your Company Settings in Refapp and the tab Integrations.
Configure settings in Refapp
Before configuring the Refapp stage in Greenhouse, you need to configure the necessary settings in Refapp and create at least one Project Template.
The Project Template determines which questionnaire is sent to referees and how communication with candidates and referees is configured.
To create a Project Template, navigate to the main menu in the top-right corner of Refapp and select Project Templates. From there, you can create new Project Templates or edit existing ones. Within a Project Template you select and customize the questionnaire sent to referees, as well as the communication sent to candidates and referees.

Choose your Greenhouse integration
Refapp supports two versions of the Greenhouse integration. Follow the guide that corresponds to your setup:
Harvest integration (recommended)
Use the Harvest API version for the latest Greenhouse integration experience and additional functionality.
