The number of days a candidate has to submit their referees is configured in the project settings and may vary between projects. The standard setting in Refapp is that candidates have 3 days to submit their referees, but this can be customized depending on your organization's process and requirements.
To view or update the deadline for a project, go to the project's Candidate communication section when creating or editing a project.

In the option To be submitted within X days, you can choose number of days for this specific project.

If the candidate needs more time, you can extend the deadline after the request has been sent. Follow this guide: How can I prolong the days for the candidate to submit their referees?
Please note that some organizations have company-level settings that restrict users from changing the candidate submission deadline. If you are unable to update the setting, please contact your Refapp administrator or contact support@refapp.com for assistance.
