How do I create a new Project in Refapp?
Step by step guide on how you create a new project in Refapp
1. Create a New Project
Start by clicking the "Create a New Project" button.
2. Title and Sender
Choose the type of project you want to create, and you will then enter the Project Settings view. Fill in the job title and optionally the client's name. You can then customize communication with candidates and references by choosing whether to hide the client's name and/or the job title.
If your company uses multiple brands, choose the one to be used in the project in the preview on the right.
3. Select Questionnaires
In the "Questionnaires" section, choose the questionnaire(s) you want to use in the project.
By clicking "+Add," you can add more forms in different languages. Click "Preview" to see the questions in the selected questionnaire. By clicking "Edit," you can make changes to the selected questionnaire; these changes will only apply to this specific project and won’t affect the original template.
4. Candidate Communication
In the "Communication with Candidates" section, specify how you prefer to communicate with candidates, either via email, SMS, or both. You can also set preferences for when you request references from the candidate, such as asking for 3 references and giving the candidate 3 days to submit them.
In the "Additional Information to Candidates" text box, you can enter custom text that will be added to the communication sent to candidates when requesting reference details. If you enter text here, it will be pre-filled for all candidates in the project (but it can be manually changed for individual candidates if needed).
Activate "Refapp Automation" if you want Refapp to automatically request reference details as soon as a candidate is added to the project.
5. Reference Communication
In the "Additional Information to References" text box, you can enter extra information if desired. Text will be pre-filled for all references in the project.
Activate "Refapp Automation" if you want Refapp to automatically send the reference request as soon as a reference is added to the project.
6. Security and Privacy
In the "Security and Privacy" section, specify which verification methods the reference should be able to choose from during the reference request.
In the "Internal Notes" section, you can fill in internal information for your own or your colleagues’ use. This information will not be visible to candidates or references.
