Here you can find out how to use Refapp via Jobylon.
The first step is to configure the settings for your reference check in your job in Jobylon. You do this by pressing the symbol for Refapp Integration.
Note! If the button is not available for your job, you need to contact an administrator for your Jobylon account and ask for permissions for Refapp reference check.
Here you can configure the settings for your reference checking in Refapp. Your choices depend on which settings and question templates you have created in Refapp. Here you can, among other things, choose:
- Which questions we should use during the reference check by choosing the language and question template under the respective language alternatives.
- How to communicate with candidates to request referees. Should the communication be sent via email, text message, or both email and text message, or should no communication be sent out automatically?
- How many referees do we want to request from the candidate.
- Once a candidate has entered their referees, how we should communicate with them. Should the communication be sent via email, text message, or both email and text message, or should no communication be sent out automatically?
Finish the setup by choosing Reference check (Refapp) at what status the reference will be triggered.
When you are ready to conduct a reference check, go to your job. Choose the candidates you want to send to Refapp through the checkbox and change the status to Reference check (Refapp).
The reference check will then start for selected candidates, and if you have the automation turned on, the candidate will receive an email and/or SMS requesting their referees.
Note that it's the recruiter that the candidate is assigned to that is the sender of the reference check, regardless of who initiates the step.
If you click on the candidate, you can also follow the process in the box for Reference check. The circled arrow will lead you to the candidate and project inside Refapp.
When all referees have answered, the status is updated to Completed in Jobylon, and a new symbol gives you access to the finished Reference report.
