Why can't I add a candidate to my project?

If you've created a project via integration from your integrated ATS system, It's not possible to add a candidate through Refapp.

Once you've created a project via integration to your ATS system, every candidate you want to conduct a reference check on needs to be added to Refapp via the integration.

You can tell that a project is created via integration in the Internal notes section of the projects.

It will say "Created from (your ATS system)" and the Add candidate button will be unresponsive.
