In Refapp, click the More button and select Send Identity Verification Request.
A dialogue box will appear showing the text that will be sent. If needed, add a personal message to the referee. Choose whether to send the request via email, SMS, or both. Then, click Send.
This sends a message to the referee with a link to a page where they can verify their identity.
What happens after the referee completes identity verification?
Once they have completed their verification, you will receive a notification from Refapp, and the verification symbol will become visible on both the referee’s card and in the reference report.
