If you have conducted a reference check via phone and want the referee to verify their identity, you can send a verification request through Refapp after the call.
In Refapp, click the More button and select Send Identity Verification Request.
A dialogue box will appear showing the text that will be sent, and you can add your own message if you'd like to add something extra for the referee. Choose whether to send the request via email, SMS, or both. Then, click Send.
This will trigger a communication to the referee, directing them to a page where they will be asked to verify their identity.
Once they have completed their verification, you will receive a notification from Refapp, and the verification symbol will become visible on both the referee’s card and in the reference report.
