Can I remove the candidate’s deadline for submitting referees?

In Refapp, the default setting is that the candidate has 3 days to submit their referees, but it is possible to remove the deadline entirely.

To activate this feature, an administrator needs to contact Refapp Support or their Customer Success Manager.

Once the feature is activated, there will no longer be a time limit for the candidate to provide the contact details of their referees, and recruiters will not need to spend time extending expired requests. The communication to the candidate is also updated to say “as soon as possible” instead of specifying a particular date.

If the candidate does not submit all their references within 24 hours, a reminder will be sent. After another 24 hours, a final reminder will be sent.

If 7 days pass without all references being submitted, the responsible recruiter will receive a notification so that they can follow up on the process.
