When taking references with Refapp, you might need to fill out the questionnaire by yourself or amend the responses in an already filled in questionnaire.
The main reason to answer on behalf of the referee is when you have a phone call with a referee and want to use the same questionnaire as the rest of the referees. You do this by pressing the Answer on behalf of the referee button, which becomes available when you add a referee in Refapp.
The reference check gets marked as completed when you have filled in the questionnaire and saved it. The answers will then be available in the reference check report. In the report, it will be noted that you were the one who entered the answers.
Update the reference check report
It's possible to add something to a questionnaire or amend responses if you need. Press the More button and then select Amend responses.
