How do I add a new user to Refapp when using SSO as a sign in method?

Single Sign-On (SSO) is an authentication method that allows you to log in to multiple systems using just one set of credentials. If your company has enabled SSO, you can access the Refapp without needing a separate username and password.

When you sign in through SSO, the system verifies your identity through your company's authentication provider.

This means that most commonly, you don't need to invite a new user through Refapp. They simply need to go to the login page and write their email to be redirected to your company's login page.

SSO is configured by your company and the new user might need to be added to a permission group by your internal IT department to be able to login.

Common error messages

Auto-provisioning of users is disabled by the company administrator. Please contact your administrator to invite you. [no-auto-provision]

This means that your company has a setting on your account that prohibits the creation of new users via SSO. The new user then first needs to get an invite to Refapp, by an administrator or user with extended user rights. Once the user has been invited, the login process with SSO works normally.

Unfortunately, we have problems logging you in.

This means that the user trying to log in doesn't belong to the right AD-group and needs to be added to a permission group by your internal IT-deparment.
