When using a questionnaire based on Refapp Insights, you can customize the form for a specific project. While the behaviour questions themselves are research-based and cannot be edited, you can choose which behaviours are measured and modify the rest of the questionnaire to fit your recruitment process.
1. Edit questions in your questionnaire
You can add, edit, or remove your introductory and concluding questions just like in any other Refapp questionnaire.

But, you can also make certain adjustments to the behaviour block.
2. Edit the behavioural section
Open your project and click Edit Questions.
Scroll down to the Behavioural Questions section, and click on the icon to edit the block.
Click Change to enable editing.
2.1 Add behavioural traits
Once the change is activated, you can Select additional characteristics to measure in this questionnaire via the drop-down.
- Select the traits you want to include.
- Click Done and then Save.
The selected behavioural questions will automatically be added to your questionnaire.
2.2. Remove behavioural traits
If a suggested behavioural trait isn't relevant for the role, simply disable it using the toggle next to the trait.
Remember to click Done and Save to keep your changes.
The individual behaviour questions included in Refapp Insights cannot be edited or rewritten. They are based on validated research and are standardized to ensure reliable and comparable results across assessments.
