To increase the security and validity of your reference check, Refapp lets you verify referee identities via BankID, LinkedIn, or Vipps. Facebook. Verification is generally voluntary for referees, and the reference check can be made without verification.
Mandatory verification
If you want to increase the likelihood that referees verify their identity, Refapp offers a mandatory verification setting. When enabled, referees who cannot verify their identity must provide a reason before they can proceed with the reference check. Contact Refapp's support and ask us to enable it.
In the reference report, you can view the reason why a referee was unable to verify their identity. To do this, hover over the icon with a cross next to the referee's name. On a touch device, tap the icon to display the reason.
