When you want to provide your candidates or referees with specific instructions or information in a project, you can include this as Additional Information. This custom text will automatically appear in the communication sent to candidates or referees, ensuring they have all the necessary details. Follow the steps below to configure this feature.
Additional information on a new project:
- When creating a new project and setting up the questionnaire and how to communicate, navigate to the Candidate Communication or Referee Communication settings.
- Write your custom message in the text box labelled Additional Information for Candidates/referee's (or a similar field for referees).
Configuring an existing project with Additional information :
- If you already started a project and need to add information, open the project settings for the project you are working on in Refapp.
- Navigate to the Candidate Communication or Referee Communication settings and write your custom message in the text box labelled Additional Information for Candidates/Referees (or a similar field for referees).
This text will automatically be included in the email or SMS sent to new candidates/referee's in the project or when resending the request for the reference check.

- Include instructions on how to submit references.
- Provide clarification on why email addresses are preferred for referees.
